Share your information and device location to other Intterra and Field Tool users
The profile information in the Field Tool is like a mini-ICS check-in form. Entering a user profile provides a way to share your information and device location to other Intterra and Field Tool users.
- Navigate to the Profile box - Click on Settings > Profile.
- Enter your name and any other information you need to share.
- Switch on Share my Location, if appropriate (see note below).
- Click Save.
NOTE: If Share my Location is switched on, your profile information and your location are shared with your team members in Intterra (if the Intterra Resource Tracking tool has been enabled). This occurs even when the device is asleep. This is very useful when on assignment. It can be toggled off when there is no need or desire to share this information.
