Email Alerts (Beta)

Intterra users have the option to receive email alerts

Intterra users have the option to receive email alerts for the following events:  
  1. Satellite IR Detections (from EGP and Intterra servers).
  2. California Drought (EGP only).
  3. Satellite Imagery Collected (from Intterra servers).

Satellite IR Detections

Users can receive an alert for the  Nation and/or one or more GACC Regions.  
 
Two types of emails: 
Summary of new IR Alerts for events with a score >3, Existing Extended Attack Fires with significant IR, Any Initial Attack Fire with significant IR.
  • Sends summaries twice per day (1100 UTC or 2300 UTC).
  • Lists a summary of all active alert types.
  • Provides links so Intterra:
  1. Provides a link to view all alerts (points to the Operations Workspace).
  2. Provides a table with a pointer to significant IR Alerts that zoom to each fire within the Operations Workspace.
New Event sent out on the hour when a new IR Alert is detected with a score >3.  The email is the same format, except it lists only NEW alerts.
  • Provides a link to view all alerts (points to the Alerts Workspace; if this workspace does not exist users will get a blank map).
  • Provides a table with a pointer to significant IR Alerts that zoom to each fire within the Operations Workspace.
  • New IR Alerts with score >3.
  • Existing Extended Attack Fires with significant IR.
  • Any Initial Attack Fire with significant IR.

California Drought

The California Drought product is designed to highlight active fires within one mile of designated Tree Mortality areas.  The CA Drought/Tree Mortality data and IRWIN data are merged to produce the alert product.  
NOTE: This email alert is for EGP users only and is only available for California.  Users cannot sign up for GACCs. 
Users can be assigned to the following two options:
  • Summary notice including all active fires in CA Drought/Tree Mortality area sent out twice per day (0100 UTC and 1300 UTC). 
  • New Alert notice listing only NEW fires in CA Drought/Tree Mortality areas sent out once per hour. 
The email format is the same as for Satellite IR Detections (discussed above). 

Satellite Imagery Collected

The Collection Events alert represents when an image that has been processed by the autoprocessor on the Intterra server.
Users can be assigned to the Nation only.  
One type of email is available:  
  • New Event notice sent on the hour for new imagery that has been processed.  It lists only NEW image sources that have not yet been reported.
