Using Intterra and ArcGIS Online

Publish Intterra hosted feature services that can be added to an AGOL Organization account

Intterra and ArcGIS Online and Field Maps and Tools
Intterra now has the ability publish Intterra hosted feature services that can be added to an AGOL Organization account.  This allows Intterra hosted data to be utilized in ESRI Field Tool applications such as Survey123, Collector and QuickCapture.  Additionally, Intterra can consume Hosted Feature Services published an AGOL Organization account. This functionality provides Intterra clients the option to host and maintain their data while leveraging the advantages of AGOL and Intterra.  Possible workflows that may utilize this capability include:
  • A client can create and publish a hydrant inspection application (webapp?) in ArcGIS Pro, have field personnel input and update data using ArcGIS Collector and then show the hydrants feature service in Intterra.
  • A client can create a structure triage tool in Survey 123 from an existing feature service and then shows it in Intterra
  • A client can create a hosted feature service and then use ArcGIS QuickCapture for Damage Assessment and show the features in Intterra
Important Considerations:
  • Intterra can only show what is published from ArcGIS Pro or Desktop.  Any layer symbology created through other means will be displayed as simple symbology in Intterra.  If the feature service is changed in your AGOL Account using Layer View or Web Map settings, those changes are only viewable in the AGOL environment and not in the Intterra environment.
  • Survey123 applications need to be created from an existing feature service that is published from ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, or an Intterra Feature Service.  Showing the layer view created in a hosted feature service.  This is an AGOL only setting.  This also include popup customization and labeling
  • Features services that are shared to your AGOL Organization from other AGOL Organizations will need to be tested individually to determine if they can be consumed into the Intterra environment.
