How do I edit a map feature?

You can edit the location and associated information of Intterra map features IF:
  • You have edit privileges for that layer, and
  • The layer is editable in that workspace.  For example, structure and wildfire preplans are typically set to Edit for a preplans workspace and Display only in others.  You can generally tell if a layer is editable if the layer name includes Edit (e.g., Edit Wildfire).
To edit a feature:
  1. Simply click on the feature to open the Info Panel.
  2. Select the feature to edit from the Info Panel list.  This will display the information for that map feature.
  3. Click on the edit button from the Geometry tab.  Edit will not be available if the layer is not editable.  This will open an edit dialog box and set Intterra in edit mode.  Information and photos (if available) can be edited in the box, and the location of the feature can be edited on the map.
  4. Save when finished.
