Begin by following the steps in the first section in this Intterra FAQ: How can I make changes to an existing map feature?
NOTE: If you do not see the Edit option, you are not currently in an editable map layer. You are seeing this feature because the Display map layer is activated in the layers list. If you have permission to edit the map in Intterra, you may need to toggle an Edit (layer) map service ON first.
For example, if you want to note the location of a HazMat incident on the map in Intterra, here are the steps to follow:
- Confirm that you are in the appropriate workspace - check the workspace identifier button at the bottom of the gray bar. If you should be working in another workspace, tap the workspace button and select the appropriate workspace.
- Follow the steps in Adding to the Map. (This is very important!)
- Tap the layers button on the gray bar and look for the Edit layer you will be adding to (in this case, Edit HazMat). Confirm that the layer is active (indicated by the narrow blue stripe to the left of the layer name.
- Tap the Add/Edit button on the gray bar and look for the Edit tool you need to use (in this case, Edit HazMat).
